A subsidiary of a leading Australian-owned engineering project contractor serving industrial clients in Oil and Gas, Refining, Petrochemical, Chemical and Mineral Processing, wishes to appoint an experienced Lead Process Engineer. Thailand is the base for the company's regional management and engineering center.

The Lead Process Engineer will:

• Lead a team of Process Engineers in the front-end or detail engineering project phase
• Prioritize tasks, follow project schedule, and supervise a team of engineers to ensure that project activities are completed within deadlines and to the accuracy required
• Participate in process studies, conceptual designs, and estimate preparation as required
• Prepare and/ or participate in the review of process flow schemes as well as P&I diagrams and equipment and instrument data sheets
• Assist in the preparation of proposals as required
• Participate in HAZOP review for projects

Qualifications and skills required:

• Thai national, aged over 30 years
• Degree in Chemical Engineering
• 10 years working experience in one or more of the following industry sectors - oil and gas, oil refining, petrochemicals, clean fuels, bio-fuels
• Strong technical background in developing project concepts and detail design
• Experience with an engineering consulting firm is an advantage
• Proven project management experience and background in implementing ISO 9001: 2000, safety, and related management standards
• Strong analytical ability, with good organizing, communications, and problem-solving skills
• Energetic and willing to contribute to innovation
• Good command in both written and spoken English
