An international company provides turnkey operations as a single source for modifying of vehicles for export to clients in Asia , Europe and Africa . The company has its own engineering team to develop designs with a complete conversion facility in Chonburi.

Reporting to the Design and Engineering Director, the Program Manager will:

• Manage engineering and commercial aspects as agreed upon by the service level agreement
• Work with the engineering team and suppliers to determine resource specifications and quantity, quality suppliers, and procurement plan
• Interface with suppliers, negotiate on pricing, business terms and conditions, as well as order changes
• Ensure integration and alignment of company's work procedures in with clients' requirements and government regulations
• Compile technological inputs from engineering sources as well as suppliers to facilitate tests of prototypes
• Communicate/ coordinate with related functions on new project development
• Manage complex projects and coordinate with experts from different fields to ensure required standards
• Prepare project estimates, assist in implementing and controlling the project's budget
• Visit suppliers to assess supplier's capacity, business operations, and quality performance
• Conduct follow-up sessions with client(s) to acquire new opportunities or to facilitate further improvements
• Present the company's profile and capabilities to potential suppliers, partners, and clients for possible partnership

Qualifications and skills required:

• Thai national
• Degree in Automotive Engineering or Technology; an MBA (preferable)
• Minimum 5 years experience in automotive project implementation and management
• Working knowledge of ISO/ QS management standard, product standard(s), and SPC
• Possess supplier network; able to formulate partnership with suppliers/ clients
• Keen on operating MS Office, MS Project, AutoCAD package
• Detail-oriented with good organizing, communication, and teamwork skills
• Good command of both written and spoken English
