Our Client is a world renowed innovative provider of products and services to the offshore oil & gas, onshore oil and gas, defense and general industries.

As the company is continuing to expand it's operations in Thailand there is a requirement for an effective and internationally experienced General Manager to lead the Thailand business unit.

Summary:

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer in USA , the General Manager will direct and co-ordinate all departmental activities of the Thailand business unit to continue business development, obtain optimum efficiency and economy of operations.

Functions and Duties:

• plan, develop and implement organization policies and goals
• control business development, sales and business support services, such as accounting, costing, purchasing, logistics and human resources
• direct and co-ordinate promotion of products manufactured or services performed to increase share of market, and obtain a competitive advantage
• analyze department budget requests and allocate operating budgets
• control preparation of directives to division or department administrators outlining policy, program and operational changes to be implemented

Experience and Skills Required:

• open to all nationalities
• working knowledge of spoken Thai language
• effective inter-personal skills
• experienced international communicator and presenter
• high degree of independence and autonomy
• university degree, preferably an MBA in marketing
