A subsidiary of American-owned manufacturer of automotive parts wishes to appoint an enthusiastic Program Manager. The corporation operates in 26 countries with innovative technology, quality management standards, and corporate social responsibilities

Based in the Eastern Seaboard Industrial Estate, Rayong, and reporting to the expatriate Managing Director, the Program Manager will be responsible for production project management which includes:

• Manage engineering and commercial aspects as agreed upon by the service level agreement with client(s)
• Formulate project timelines and control production operations against the set timelines
• Prepare project estimates, allocate, review and control the project's budget
• Coordinate with internal departments on project requirements, operations, and problem-solving
• Communicate and coordinate with experts from different fields to ensure attainment of required standards
• Ensure accuracy and systematic of the VPDS Master Project List
• Establish and monitor the Risk Management Plan
• Communicate with client(s) on project progress as well as conduct follow-up sessions to facilitate further improvement and new business opportunities
• Participate in project sales activities to acquire customer needs and expectations
• Lead, mentor, and motivate project team members
• Supervise government relations activities to ensure most utilization of tax privileges and other benefits scheme provided by the government
• Participate in automaker and auto parts maker's meetings and activities as needed to maintain corporate recognition and support business development

Qualifications and skills required :

• Thai national, age above 30 years
• Degree in an Engineering field or equivalent; an MBA would be advantage
• Minimum 5 years experience in automotive project implementation and management
• Strong background in QS standard and related quality management standards
• Possess an extensive business network and strong recognition within the automotive industry
• Keen on operating MS Office, MS Project applications
• Result-oriented with strong organizing, communications, and teamwork skills
• Good command of both written and spoken English
