A producer of flat-steel products used in the construction, automotive and related industries wishes to recruit a very experienced Credit Manager for its building materials subsidiary that provides roll-formed steel sheets and pre-engineering building solutions for factories and residential buildings.

Reporting to Finance Director, the Credit Manager will:

• Manage credit operations and coordinate with working sites, the head office, sales and legal services team on credit-related matters
• Ensure timely and efficient operations of credit application process
• Identify and allocate amount of unallocated cash and resolutions against customer enquires
• Ensure timely and accurate aging reports as well as effectiveness of the collection function
• Review account updates and ensure accuracy of transactions of all accounts
• Manage risk and working capital and monitor performance of each account
• Review and respond to claims from customers
• Prepare outstanding list together with explanation to the management
• Develop and maintain relationship strategies to retain customers and improve cross-department relationships

Qualifications and Skills required:

• Thai national , age between 30 – 45 years
• Degree in Accountancy
• Proven credit management experience
• Knowledge of credit-related legislation as well as credit policies and procedures
• Excellent analytical, communication, interpersonal skills; able to obtain support from various levels of staff within the company
• Good command of spoken and written English
