A subsidiary of an American specialist in the design and manufacture of metal castings, fittings and joints used in HT power transmission and distribution wishes to appoint an experienced Manufacturing Manager for its Thailand manufacturing operations. The company provides complete packages of power line hardware for voltages up to and including 500kV for EGAT, MEA and PEA and exports to its American parent company and subsidiaries worldwide.

Based in the Latkrabang Industrial Estate, Bangkok , and reporting to the Managing Director, the Project Sales Supervisor/ Manager will :

• Conduct market research to facilitate the formulation of business strategy and accurate projection
• Develop sales operational plan and budget plan
• Acquire project insights and conduct presentations as needed
• Prepare bidding proposal packages (technical and business-wise) and conduct the bidding process
• Establish and strengthen business relationships within the power industry

Qualifications and skills required:

• Thai national, age around 30 - 35 years
• Degree in an Engineering field or equivalence
• Minimum 5 years industrial sales experience selling to private contractors, government sector, or state-enterprises
• Proven track-record in establishing business networks and business development
• Ability to operate innovative communication tools/ applications
• Strong communication, presentation, and organizing skills
• Good command of both spoken and written English
