A manufacturer of automotive parts and assembler of passenger and commercial vehicles wishes to appoint an experienced Sales and Marketing Manager.

The Sales and Marketing Manager will support the Sales and Marketing Director (an expatriate), and will:

• Develop and implement strategic marketing plans and sales and forecasts to achieve corporate objectives for products and services
• Plan and oversee advertising and promotion activities including printed, on-line, electronic media, and direct mail
• Recommend product positioning, packaging and pricing strategy to produce the highest possible long-term market share
• Acquire satisfactory profit and loss ratio and market share in relation to present standards and industry and economic trends
• Ensure effective control of marketing results and take corrective actions to guarantee achievement within designated budgets
• Evaluate market research and adjust marketing strategy to the changing market and competitive conditions
• Monitor competitor's products, sales and marketing activities
• Establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners
• Establish and maintain a consistent corporate image throughout all product lines and promotional programs
• Direct sales forecasting activities and set performance goals accordingly
• Direct staffing, training, and performance evaluation of responsible staff
• Direct marketing channel development activity and determine sales territories, quotas and goals
• Review and analyze sales performance against program goals and plans to determine effectiveness

Qualifications and skills required:

• Thai national, age around 35 – 45 years
• Degree in Technology, Business Administration or other related discipline
• Minimum 5 years experience in B2B sales and marketing operations; preferably within the automotive industry
• Proven track-record in establishing a Business Unit
• Previous work exposure to various cultures in Asean is a must
• Highly motivated, result-oriented with organizational and people management skill
• Good command of spoken and written English
