A Danish company specialising in steel and metal working with a new factory in Laem Chabang wishes to hire an experienced Production Engineer. Using the latest metal working technology, the factory will produce products for customers in Europe and SEA.

The Production Engineer will:

• Assist in the installation of production machinery for metal casting, milling, laser cutting, punching and pressing
  
• Review drawings, production schedules and estimate worker hour requirements for completion of job assignments
  
• Inspect products to verify conformance with specifications
  
• Analyze and resolve work problems, or assist workers in solving work problems
  
• Estimate, request, and inspect materials
  
• Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of products
  
• Maintain time and production records

Qualifications and skills required:

• Thai national, age over 25 years
  
• Degree in an Engineering field
  
• Minimum 1 year production experience in sheet metal works
  
• Background in implementing ISO 9000 and safety standards
  
• Prior experience working in a complex project would be advantage
  
• Able to use AutoCAD, Solid Works, MS Office, MS Outlook
  
• Good organizational, communications, and problem-solving skills
  
• Good command in written and spoken English
