Regional Technical Service Manager APAC

German manufacturer

A highly innovative German company producing high-class bath room furniture and accessories in Saraburi to supply local and international markets wishes to appoint a Regional Technical Service Manager APAC. 

 Reporting to the SCM Director APAC, the Regional Technical Service Manager APAC will be responsible for supervising the Technical Service and After Sales function for the APAC Region.

Direct reports: After Sales Service Manager, China and an After Sales Service Supervisor, Thailand.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing, evaluating and reviewing technical service procedures and standards

  • Ensuring that Group policies, guidelines and tools are implemented in all APAC countries

  • Plan, prioritize and implement service activities for new products and After Sales

  • Liaise with functional and Sales, Customer Service, QA team to ensure that Technical Service activities are integrated with other parts of the business

  • Take ownership of Product quality complaints and claims – from Process, Planning, and Implementation

  • Liaise between sales and customers, answer queries on technical issues

  • Support SCM Director APAC in budget process, recurrent reporting, and Ad-hock projects

  • Select, lead, direct, evaluate and develop a team of Technical staff to ensure that all activities in Technical Service are completed on time and according to requirements

  • Manage the Technical Service After Sales team with standard process, procedures, and metrics

  • Develop the APAC Technical Services After Sales team to be customer-focus, professional in Technical/ Quality problem-solving

  • Work as ONE team with Sales, CS with high technical expertise at Customers front

  • Ensure the collaboration and alignment with TQM at high visibility and alignment 

Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering or related filed

  • More than 10 years of experience in technical and service support experience

  • Good experience of mechanical diagnosis systems

  • Service mind and excellent interpersonal skill

  • Strong leadership with systematic approach

  • Excellence English skill; Chinese Mandarin would be a big plus

  • Technical knowledge in bathroom system, installation, piping, plumbing, sewer and septic system
