1. Candidate Database Search - For over 30 years, we have attracted candidates to register and update their resumes with us.  This approach has enabled us to assemble Thailand's largest computerised database.

2. Advertisement Based Selection - MERC advertise on the internet and some newspapers under its own name or the clients to attract a wide range of candidates.  We then select and short-list the most suitable candidates.  This service is appropriate for various positions in the executive levels and can either supplement in-house personnel resources or provide a cost-effective alternative. 

3. Executive Search - Executive search is usually the most appropriate means of  filling positions for top level or highly specialised vacancies because the pool of suitable talent may be small.  MERC will identify potential candidates and contact them directly.  This is often the best method of alerting high caliber executives who may not be reading job advertisements.  MERC services are highly recommended when:

  • ideal candidates are unlikely to consider themselves “on the market”
  • individuals with the desired qualities are usually not actively seeking relocation
  • advertising may not locate acceptable candidates which is a waste of time and money
  • minimal HR and management time involvement required.  Executive search cuts the time spent on interviewing undesirable candidates
  • job complexity is too great for advertisement
  • talent is identified in a competitor’s management team, but direct approach is inappropriate 
  • confidentiality is a major concern in the case of a new position which may effect an organisation structure or someone in the organisation 
  • MERC uses a direct approach in locating individuals who meet the position specification.  This process will normally yield several qualified candidates to compare and evaluate competitively against each other
  • should an appointee leave the company or be dismissed within the first six months, MERC will find a replacement without additional fees
